  ALLBLK , a popular streaming service from AMC Networks, has announced the renewal of its hit millennial dating dramedy, À La Carte , for a second season. The scripted series, which explores the Black millennial dating experience, is executive produced and showrun by Dijon Talton and Meagan Good, with the creation of Publicist Breanna Hogan. The second season of À La Carte will see the return of series leads Kendall Kyndall and Jenna Nolen, who play Reign and Shyra, respectively. The duo will be joined by newcomer Shani Marq, who will portray the role of Misha. Also returning are Kandi Burruss as Nicole, Juan Gil as Derek, and Xavier Avila as Ziyad. Social media influencer India Love and musician Alex Jacke will join the cast as new series regulars. Coming this summer, two new original movies based on Mary J. Blige's best-selling songs are set to premiere on Lifetime . The movies, Mary J. Blige ’s Real Love and Mary J. Blige’s Strength of a Woman will be aired on June 10 and 17, respectively. Both films are produced by John and Jordan Davis, alongside Mary J. Blige, Ashaunna K. Ayars, and  Q. Nicole Jackson.
