"Spotlighting Excellence: The Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame

This  past  Thursday, we had the privilege of covering the annual Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony. This vibrant event celebrated the remarkable accomplishments of influential figures in the black music industry. Among those honored were the renowned producer Jermaine Dupri prolific rappers Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, accomplished songwriter Dallas Austin , acclaimed actress Queen Latifah, gospel artist Marvin Sapp , and the legendary soul singer   Mahalia   Jackson, represented by her estate. This star-studded ceremony took place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where the Walk of Fame resides on a side street. The evening continued with the 50th Year of Hip Hop Celebration hosted at The Biltmore Ballrooms. The Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame is a collaborative effort between the Black American Music Association, a 501(c)(6) professional membership trade organization, and the Georgia Entertainment Caucus (GEC), a 501(c)(3) organization.
