  The Wiz is a famous musical that tells the story of Dorothy and her friends as they embark on a journey through a magical land. It has been a part of True Colors Theatre Company's history since its early years. Kenny Leon, the company's Artistic Director emeritus and co-founder, directed The Wiz for four consecutive years, from 2004 to 2007. The aim was to provide a platform for young talent and help them shine on stage. This time around, The Wiz is getting a fresh makeover under the direction of Brian Jordan, Jr., who is best known for his role as "Maurice Webb" on the popular show Sistas.
