She acknowledged that while La La Anthony's portrayal of her had some truth, there were also some inaccuracies and that she feels LaLa is doing a great job.
Director Tressa emphasized the importance of the biopic, stating that it was a chance to show a woman in a different light and showcase Tonesa intelligence and leadership skills.
Tressa, also stated that towards the end of the biopic, viewers will see Tonesa's life spiraling out of control and the wake-up call that came when she realized how her actions were affecting her children and loved ones. Tonesa expressed her desire for viewers to understand the consequences of getting involved in the drug game and the impact it can have on those around you.
Overall, the conversation shed light on the importance of telling stories from different perspectives and the need to showcase the complexities of real-life situations. Through Tonesa's biopic, viewers will have the opportunity to gain insight into a world that is often glamorized in media and see the reality of the consequences that come with that lifestyle.
